This year, Padgett Business Services, an international accounting firm headquartered in Athens, Georgia, will award over $95,000 in scholarships to children of small business owners. Regional awards of $500 each are available to qualified applicants. One international Award of $4,000 is also being offered. To qualify: applicants must be a dependent of a small business owner who owns at least 10% of the stock or capital in a business employing fewer than 20 people, and be a graduating high school senior who plans to attend an accredited college.
