Founded in 1992, Lexus of Huntsville is the nation’s 48th largest African American-owned auto dealership; and Alabama’s largest minority-owned auto dealership. The company also holds the distinction of being the fifth largest BE Auto Dealer headed by a woman.

Ellane Fairhurst is the principal owner of the Lexus dealership. Down 12 places on the 2009 BE Auto Dealer List, the dealership saw a 41.1% decline in 2008 revenues.
