With $481 million in 2008 revenues, March Hodge Automotive returns to the No. 2 spot on the BE Auto Dealers list. The auto powerhouse, which operates 19 dealerships in seven states, suffered a minor 1% decline in overall revenues for 2008.
Co-CEOs Anthony March and Ernest Hodge founded the Wesley Chapel, Florida-based auto conglomerate in 1998. They are the first African American auto dealers in the history of the BE 100s to partner together and merge dealerships.
The duo owns 16 car franchises including five luxury brands: Jaguar Westside and Land Rover Westside in Cleveland, Ohio; Lexus of Northborough, Mass.; Infiniti of South Atlanta; and Heritage Cadillac Saab in Morrow, Georgia.
