Urban Trust Bank (UTB) is the largest black-owned federally chartered bank in Florida. The full-service bank, headquartered outside of Orlando,  was founded by BET founder Robert Johnson in 2005. The bank is among several RLJ Co. portfolio companies including Bobcats Holding LLC, and Our Stories films among others.

The firm’s innovative business model provides value-oriented, common-sense banking and mortgage products to hard-working urban communities. In 2008, the company’s assets grew over 400%.
