Health Resources Inc. is the largest African American-owned pharmaceutical services company in the state of Maryland. Founded by David Dalton in 1983, the Owings, Maryland-based company distributes home and clinical specialty pharmaceuticals across the country. In 2008, the firm reported revenues of $105.8 million–up 6.9% from the previous year.

Dalton also serves as president and CEO of Baltimore-based Univec Inc., a  pharmaceutical and pre-filled syringe supplier.
