Beyoncé Is Highest-Paid Female Music Star In the World

Forbes recently released their list of 2014’s most bankable female musicians and unsurprisingly, Beyoncé topped them all like a boss.

According to the publication, Beyoncé earned nearly double what the number-two person, Taylor Swift, took home ($64 million). Beyoncé also doubled-down on her own earning from the previous year, reportedly jumping from a middling $53 million to a whopping $115 million.

As incredible as those numbers sound when read out loud, Beyoncé’s overall cash haul still falls short of the Material Girl, Maddona, and her $125 million earnings from 2013. Just how did Beyoncé make so much money? Well, according to Forbes’ reports, it appears her’The Mrs. Carter Show’ World Tour gets the credit, along with the completely surprising album she dropped last December and her endorsement deals with Pepsi and H&M.

The calculations were tracked from June 2013 to June 2014.

Lady Gaga, Katy Perry, Rihanna, Jennifer Lopez and Pink all return from 2013’s Top 10, with notable absences from Mariah Carey, Nicki Minaj, Adele, Shakira and Sade. Miley Cyrus, Britney Spears and Celine Dion join the ranks with the returnees. To see the full list, check it out the here.
