Program Lead - Events, Business Marketing, AT&T Business Solutions
In his role as Lead Event Manager, Sean Jones is responsible for strategy and execution of B2B industry events, creating opportunities to showcase AT&T Business Solutions, nurture client relationships, and increase sales opportunities. He joined the Business Solutions team in May 2015.
Previously a member of the Consumer Marketing organization, Sean played a key role in expanding the company’s targeted marketing efforts for wireless, wired, and TV products to diverse & emerging customer bases.
Sean was born in St. Louis, MO. He participated in the INROADS program, and interned for SBC for several years within the IT organization, before joining the company full time with the Leadership Development Program in 2005. Sean has held leadership roles across AT&T – in its Customer Service, IT, Network, and Marketing organizations. The wide range of experiences Sean has attained throughout his career is a testament to his goal-oriented leadership, and willingness to collaborate, and build solution based key relationships.
Sean participates in community initiatives through his membership on the advisory council of the Boys & Girls Club of Dallas (Oak Cliff), TX, and is a current mentor and the former organizational lead of D.I.O.P. Mentoring – a faith based youth group which focuses on developing the leaders of tomorrow. Sean also takes part in AT&T’s Aspire program as a mentor, and is a member of several AT&T employee resource groups, including AT&T’s African-American resource group – The NETwork, and the company’s millennial group, oxyGEN. Sean earned his Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Business Information Systems, and his Master of Business Administration from Tennessee State University. He and his wife, Ahveance, live in Dallas with their children, Sebastian and Robinson.
