Burger King Adds New Cities to Their Delivery Service

When you think of home delivery, Burger King wants their name to be on your short list.

The fast food chain recently expanded their “BK Delivers” delivery service to restaurants in Chicago, Los Angeles, and the Bay Area.  Now, customers can enjoy a whopper and fries from the comfort of their own home, without having to get up.

BK Delivers has already performed well in New York, Miami, Houston and the greater Washington D.C. area. Customers utilized the service and there became an increased demand for the program in other markets.

“Los Angeles, San Francisco and Chicago have some of our most loyal guests,” said Alex Macedo, President of North America, Burger King Worldwide, Inc. He added that “the Burger King brand is excited to offer them the opportunity to enjoy the food they love, delivered to them in the comfort of their home, dorm or office.”

BK Delivers allows customers in the delivery zone to order via a website or a special toll free telephone number. The system remembers customer’s orders for one touch ordering with each subsequent order. Orders can be placed during delivery operating hours of 11 am until 10 pm. The minimum food order is $10 and the delivery times and prices vary by location.

There are a wide variety of markets in which both customers and franchisees have shown tremendous interest in expanding the BK Delivers program. There are immediate plans for more locations in the Chicago metropolitan area over the next several months, including Lincoln Park, Evanston, Skokie, The Loop, Cicero, Downers Grove and Logan Square.

Customers can visit BKDelivers.com to see the complete menu, a list of participating restaurants, or add their email address to get alerts once BK Delivers arrives in their area.
