Career Spotlight: Dee Daniels Provides Women Entrepreneurs Vital Web Resource

Dee Daniels

Dee Daniels has carved her own unique niche in digital media, giving women an avenue to gain a prominent seat at the industry table. The creator of Noir Woman News, a monthly Chicago Sun-Times insert, expanded the brand into Noir Woman Ad Network, a Website designed to give black women a voice in the community. Today, with her newest venture, Digital Diva 2.0, Daniels seeks to give women of all races a platform in the space.

The 48-year-old Chicago resident saw how fast the tech scene was growing and observed a void when it came to advocating for women’s involvement in the industry. Daniels decided to create a company to help women entrepreneurs, providing not only a source for news but a network of support via panel discussions, events and media exposure.
