EXCUSE #4: I want a new job, but I don't have the time to find one.

RESPONSE: If you're in a position that isn't challenging, rewarding, or exciting, it's up to you to make it a priority to find something new. So often, professionals stay in positions where they are miserable, using the excuse that they're just too busy to do something about it.  The reality is that we're all busy ... just in different ways. 

At the end of the day, people make time for what they want to make time for. Consider doing an assessment of how you spend your time each day.  Eliminate those things that don't have to be done, or delegate those tasks that can be done by someone else. Make time for the things that are important like family, faith, and your future.
