Of course some photographers earn a great deal such as the Annie Lebowitzs or Kareem Blacks of the industry. Then there are the studio photographers who’ve probably taken your family portrait at the mall or wedding photos. With 139,500 photographers working in 2010, it’s a safe bet that 90% of them weren’t working the red carpet or shooting for high fashion magazines. Median Salary: $29,130
