National Association of Broadcasters Inducts Shonda Rhimes into Hall of Fame

Creative genius, Shonda Rhimes, continues to prove why she’s one of Hollywood’s go-to women for producing great television.

Adding to her list of awards and accolades, the National Association of Broadcasters (NAB) has announced Rhimes induction into their 2015 Hall of Fame.

As the creator and executive producer of ABC’s top-rated show’s including Grey’s Anatomy, Scandal and the new drama series How to Get Away With Murder, the Dartmouth College graduate has slowly made the network’s Thursday night line-up Shonda night.

“Shonda Rhimes’ creative talent is undeniable, and is on display every Thursday night on ABC,” said NAB President and CEO Gordon Smith in a news release. “The characters and story lines she creates draw in viewers and keep them coming back for more. Her hit shows serve as Exhibit A on why broadcast television remains the most powerful destination for scripted entertainment programming.”

Rhimes official induction will take place on Monday, April 13 in Las Vegas at the 2015 NAB Show Television Luncheon.
