Each year, BLACK ENTERPRISE identifies the best franchising opportunities for African Americans. This year, to spotlight the stars, BE has not only identified the hottest sectors poised to flourish in years to come, but also sought out franchisors with active minority recruitment programs. We’ve showcased franchises within high-growth categories with either low or moderate startup costs or a high number of black-owned units due to effective diversity initiatives.

Before you go into business (if you’re not already) you should consider taking an English/Writing class. If you have already been apart of said classes, you should read over what you write before you publish it.
Based on what you wrote I would not consider doing business with you.

I agree that purchasing a franchise from Jan-Pro cleaning system is a good way to start a business but owning this franchise can limit your growth and profit. The franchise has total control over your business, they pick and choose who they want to offer business to and they charge a fee to get new business. The frnchise charges 15% interest on each account worked by the franchisee and the real kicker is they charge a wopping 28.9% on any work done outside the normal scope of the reqires work. example $100.00 job they get almost $30.00 off the top and havent done any work/ supplies costing average $55.00 and euipment $35.00 a day your working to pay them no profit for you but they get earnings and their name is glorified

Hi,
I just wanted to recommend a national franchise company where I do business and I feel proud of it because it always opened the hours to our brothers without asking any questions or giving us the regular treatment we get everywhere.

I second this opinion. The views expressed by the initial post are clouded by the writer’s poor use of the English language and terrible grammar. These qualities totally cloud the point he/she is trying to make. It is also HIGHLY unlikely that people would be confident in doing business on any scale with someone who cannot type a basic email message.
I believe that I generally understand the idea this person is trying to get across, however it is embarrassing to read something that is so poorly written. Business people need to be financially/ economically savvy but also able to communicate effectively on all levels. Good communication skills are a MUST. I applaud this person’s effort to voice their opinion; I do suggest they seek out the help of a proofreader prior to posting, however.
