Calling All Poets!

Do you have an inner artist just yearning to get out? Do you write or perform poetry in your spare time? Are you looking for the right time to perform your original masterpiece in front of a live audience? Then your time is here.
Black Enterprise is in search of a moving and inspiring poet to round out our poetry jam Contest titled BE Heard,  at the 2012 Women of Power Summit hosted by State Farm. The winner will receive two complimentary registrations and accommodations for one to the summit (airfare not included).

The contest deadline is Friday,January 27, 2012. Don’t miss your chance!

All entries must not have been previously published online or in print.

A video (no more than three minutes in length) and written submission must be submitted by the contest deadline, February 4, 2011). Please make sure that video is audible and clear.

One winner will be determined and notified the week of January 30, 2012

The selected winner will perform their poem on Friday February 17, 2012 at 7 p.m. for the Black Enterprise Women of Power Summit BE Poetry Jam hosted by State Farm.
