[EXCLUSIVE] Charlamagne: ‘I don’t want to live in a Donald Trump America’

In Part III of our interview with Charlamagne Tha God, the Respect My Vote! spokesperson shared his unfiltered opinion on the state of the Republican Party.

Admitting that he would be fine with either Hillary Clinton or Bernie Sanders in the White House, the media personality then delivered withering criticisms of both Donald Trump and Ted Cruz. (Although Cruz has suspended his campaign since this interview took place, his high delegate count may allow him to play a huge role in shaping the future of GOP policy at the Republican National Convention in July.)

Referring to his planned advocacy work with Respect My Vote!, Charlamagne stated that he would be actively “championing whoever is going against Trump or Cruz.”

“We just need to keep Donald Trump or Ted Cruz out of the White House, and the only way to do that is by showing up to the polls in November and voting against them,” the radio star said.

Check out this video to see what else he had to say on keeping the Republicans out of the White House:

While clearly not a fan of Ted Cruz, Charlamagne saved his most scathing remarks for Donald Trump.

Stating that he “did not want to live in a Donald Trump America,” Charlamagne urged voters to “mobilize and get out there and overwhelmingly make sure that he does get into the White House in November.”
