“Let’s Move” Slammed by Kansas High School Students

Michelle Obama’s “Let’s Move” campaign which has had support from celebrities like Beyonce is being slammed by Wallace County High School students in Kansas.

In a You Tube video titled “We Are Hungry,” students at the high school complain about the 850 calorie lunches that are provided. The restrictions for school lunches were passed by the Healthy, Hunger-Free Kids Act of 2010.

The video opens up with a quote from KidsHealth.org that states an active teenager needs between 2,000 and 5,000 calories a day to meet their growth and energy needs.
