Last year, LeBron James asked fans on social media whether he should return to wearing jersey No. 23 or stick with No. 6. He tossed his No. 6 tunic when he left Cleveland for Miami in 2010. Eventually, the 6 ft 8 small forward switched to No. 23.
Now, his No. 23 Cleveland Cavaliers jersey has ballooned to the NBA’s best-selling jersey list for the first time since 2004, reported ESPN.com.Normally, his No. 6 Miami Heat jersey has topped the list. It’s the fifth straight time King James has claimed the No. 1 position on the list. James’s No. 23 jerseys are priced at $109.95 for men, $49.95 to $74.95 for youth, $34.95 for preschool, and women’s Cleveland Cavaliers Lebron James jersey $69.95, according to the NBA store.

At No. 2 on the list is Golden State Warriors sensation Stephen Curry, whose successful season propelled him from the No. 7 spot. Rounding out the top five are the Oklahoma City Thunder’s Kevin Durant (No. 3), the Los Angeles Lakers’ Kobe Bryant (No. 4), and the Chicago Bulls’ Derrick Rose (No. 5), the National Basketball Association stated in a press release. The Cleveland Cavaliers are No. 1 for most popular team merchandise. James is worth at least $1 million per year in sponsorship commitments, according to ESPN.
