Magic Johnson’s ASPiRE Expands 2014 HBCU Football Coverage
Starting with the Inaugural Classic, ASPiRE will be expanding its Historically Black College & University college sports coverage thanks to a new deal with Urban Sports & Entertainment Group (UurbanSportsgroup.net). The first game, Alabama State vs. Tennessee State, will air Saturday, Sept. 6 at 5:00 pm EDT.

The collaboration will broadcast a total of 11 live and encore HBCU football games, airing Saturday, September 6Â through Saturday, November 15, announced ASPiRE and Urban Sports & Entertainment Group.

The football games to be broadcast on ASPiRE are as follows:

- Game #2: Sept. 13, HBCU Playback Game of the Week — 1999 Gold Coast Classic: Grambling State vs. Winston-Salem — 6:00 p.m. EDT — Hosted by Rashan Ali and Doug Stewart
- Game #3: Sept. 20, Winston-Salem vs. Tuskegee, Winston-Salem, NC – 6:00 p.m. EDT (exclusive)
- Game #4: Sept. 27, HBCU Playback Game of the Week — 2007 CIAA Football Championship: Shaw University vs. Virginia Union —6:00 p.m. EDT — Hosted by Rashan Ali and Doug Stewart
