Nobody plays a homicidal, drug dealer robbing, non-cursing, shotgun-wielding, homosexual thug like Michael K. Williams. Omar was a fan favorite, even got President Obama’s endorsement. Since The Wire ended, Williams has kept himself busy with numerous television appearances on Community, Law and Order (several The Wire alum have been on there), as well as movies (Brooklyn’s Finest and Miracle at St. Anna). These days Williams can be found on HBO’s Prohibition-era drama series Boardwalk Empire.
