International Television
Description: Intern will research the international television marketplace including program costs, commercial time costs, amount of golf available/time periods, terrestrial vs. cable/satellite and ratings.
Requirements: Full-time undergraduate (juniors) or graduate in good academic standing; applicants must have a minimum 2.5 GPA, some familiarity with television and distribution required; basic knowledge of Lotus 1-2-3.
Communications Department
Description: Intern will work in the communications department as an intricate part of day-to-day activities including filing, faxing, copying, researching and gathering background information for player bios, tournament history and special projects.
Requirements: Students (with 3.0 GPA) majoring in journalism, broadcasting, communications, english, public relations, or any other relevant field; good working knowledge of golf, writing experience, computer and/or word processing skills and excellent interpersonal skills a plus.

Information Systems
Description: Intern will assist in the installation and maintenance of 200+ personal computers and peripherals, research product specifications, create and maintain records and install maintenance and troubleshooting of PC software configurations.
Requirements: Minimum 3.0 GPA with concentrated study in information systems/ computer science knowledge of Microsoft Office, as well as local area networks/Token-Ring.

Corporate Marketing
Description: Intern will review and make recommendations on unsolicited licensing proposals, develop a license prospect tracking system, communicate with tournament co-sponsors on licensing activities and provide other services to the license program.
Requirements: Minimum 2.5 GPA with emphasis on business administration, marketing or sports administration. Strong interpersonal skills, writing and computer word processing attributes are essential.

Internet
Description: The PGA TOUR operates www.pgatour.com, its Web site on the Internet. Intern will research and evaluate Internet sites established by golf organizations, golf enthusiasts, traditional golf sponsors, golf equipment manufacturers and prospective golf sponsors.
Requirements: Minimum 2.5 GPA and have intense background in Internet applications; logical thinking and writing ability required.

Grants Research
Description: Intern will assist in developing a grants database and preparing grant applications to support initiatives to make golf affordable and accessible to young people; intern will also seek grants to strengthen the operation of TPC Village residential treatment center for adolescents with substance abuse problems.
Requirements: Legal background or have completed at least one year at a recognized law school; must be self-starter and confident in their research
and writing capabilities.

Design Services
Description: Intern will be exposed to all elements of the design and construction areas, which include golf course facility design and community master planning. The scope of work is from conceptual planning through complete construction documentation and implementation with an emphasis on communications at all levels.
Requirements: Applicants (with 2.5 GPA) majoring in architecture, landscape architecture, civil engineering, agronomy or other related areas; thorough knowledge of AUTOCAD/LANDCADD, grading and drainage techniques and irrigation design; an awareness of plant materials and their use in native environments, and an interest in golf course design.

Professional Services
Description: Position focuses on the retail and customer services areas including retail merchandising, golf instruction, locker room operations, retail stock room operations, driving range services, member and customer service event administration and Other golf-related activities.
