Howroyd refers to this technology as Umbrella Managed Programs, and due to its success, she is projecting $150 million worth of business this year. The technology allows the temp-billing processing — from the time workers punch in to the time ACT*1 cuts the check to happen in a week as opposed to months.
“Our revenues come from various areas. Many people are determined and have the true grit attitude to run their own businesses, but that is not enough,” states Howroyd. “At a certain point you must design your business and have a long-term plan. That’s what we did — which is why this is going to be a very good year for us.”
