More than money

Think that money is all that makes your employees’ world go round? If so, you might want to rethink that belief. According to a survey conducted by Goodrich & Sherwood Associates last year, 85% of the 200 respondents asserted that pay and bonus are extremely important. More telling, though, was that responsibility and autonomy (97%); the respect and recognition of superiors (92%) and the opportunity to have ideas adopted (87%) were voted higher.
