The latest addition to Motorola’s family of StarTac phones is the sleek and compact StarTAC 8600. The 8600 offers VoiceNote, an answering machine/voice recorder (unavailable in earlier StarTAC phone models). VoiceNote provides up to four minutes of recording time as an answering machine or a voice memo record function for user’s own personal reminders.
