Work And Pray

When it comes to religion, most employers are fairly accommodating. According to the Society for Human Resource Management’s 1997 Religion in the Workplace mini-survey, 68% of employers provide employees with flexible work schedules to accommodate their religious beliefs.

Eight out of 10 respondents say the demand for religious accommodations in the workplace is the same today as it was five years ago. Some organizations (19%) include religion as a component of their diversity training programs. A similar number of companies (18%) actually train managers in religious accommodations.
