the story before the show has ended. Leave room for Him to work in your life. And when life’s circumstances seem to block the path of your dreams, you can express your disappointment and still cling to hope.
Hold on to your dreams, and with calm perseverance you, too, will see your promise fulfilled. Pray that God will not let you miss your destiny. Ask Him not to let you hope for things that are not part of His plan for your life. Ask Him for glimpses of hope along the way, signs to bolster your faith so that no matter how impossible the circumstances look — when doctors give up and accountants shake their heads — you do not give up. Ask Him to help you know the difference between what you must make happen yourself and what you must wait on Him to provide.
I believe that God gives us time to set the stage and prepare the way for the magnitude He has in store for us. Delayed does not mean denied. It may, in fact, mean that the blessing coming is so much bigger than the one lost, and that it will be worth the wait. [So] keep getting back on your feet every morning thinking that this could be the day when something amazing happens! You are never too old to give birth to your dreams. The story ain’t over till it’s over.
