Founded by Daniel Halpern, Brooke Jackson Edmond, and the late Maynard Jackson in 1994, Jackmont Hospitality Inc. is the seventh largest minority-owned company in Georgia.

Jackmont Hospitality is a multifaceted food service company that operates T.G.I. Friday’s franchises and manages dining programs for corporate and educational institutions across the U.S.  Current and past clients include Atlanta-based Morehouse College; Memphis-based Internal Revenue Service; Tallahassee Mall-based Taco Bell and Great Wraps franchises; and Washington National Airport-based California Pizza Kitchen franchise.

In 2008, revenues for the company reached 43.9 million–up 18.8% from the previous year.
