The highlight of the Congressional Black Caucus Foundation’s 45th Annual Legislative Conference in Washington, D.C. on Saturday was a well-received speech from President Obama. POTUS acknowledged the contributions of black women for their role in building the country—from voting rights, to civil rights, to equal pay. He reminded the audience of the legacy and dedication black women have shown since the birth of the nation.
