Lisa Crutchfield has been named vice president of energy policy and strategy at Duke Energy Corp. in Charlotte, N.C. Crutchfield will serve as chief restructuring strategist at the federal and state level for one of the top 10 public utility companies in the nation. Previously, she was vice chairman of the Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission.

Edward Boateng has been promoted to regional director for European distribution at Turner Broadcasting in London. He is responsible for the distribution of Turner Networks, which include CNN International, TNT and the Cartoon Network, throughout the 52 countries in Africa. Previously, he served as the regional sales manager for that continent.

Beverly Ebanks has been named vice president of trust and estate administration at Summit Bank in Hackensack, New Jersey. Ebanks is a certified trust and financial advisor responsible for estate and trust administration, including special needs, eldercare and minors’ trusts, at New Jersey’s largest bank. Previously, she was an assistant vice president at United Jersey Bank.

Dresdene Flynn-White has been promoted to vice president of human resources in the Southwest division of Kaiser Permanente in Dallas. Flynn-White is responsible for all human resources operations. Prior to her promotion, she was manager of quality and resources management, where she directed the risk management and quality assurance functions.

Veronica Clark-Hudson has been appointed a director at the Gemological Institute of America in Carlsbad, California. She is charged with operating the new Los Angeles satellite campus for the educational institute of the diamond and gem industry. She also will teach diamond and color-stone grading and gem identification. Previously, she was educational sales manager and instructor.
