Rush Philanthropic Arts Foundation and Bombay Sapphire Partner for 2015 Artisan Series

Bombay Sapphire, in partnership with the Rush Philanthropic Arts Foundation, has launched the Artisan Series, a national search to find the next big name in visual arts. The Artisan series, in its sixth year, offers underrepresented artists a national platform to showcase their artwork.

Promoting the theme: “Dream it. Create it. Unveil it.,” Bombay Sapphire is using its website and Instagram as a platform to showcase the Artisan Series and encourage followers to vote for their favorite artist.

According to Bombay Sapphire, here’s how the contest, which recently ended on August 23, worked: Artist (at least 21 years old) from across the United States submit their artwork for a chance to exhibit at local galleries during the regional finals. Then twelve artists are chosen to showcase at the grand finale event during SCOPE Miami Beach, but just one will receive a grand prize solo exhibit at SCOPE NYC. The top three winning artists from the finale will receive a stipend to help create a mural in their hometown and give back to their communities.

Check out a few of the beautiful submissions, and video which highlights the contest below:
