I was wondered what credit cards would you suggest for black consumers. Also I applied for the financial fitness contest. How do I find out the results of that?
I am looking to get a credit card. I now only have my military star card for military use only and gas. my credit score is about 627 or 629. I own a place. I have one personal loan and one car loan. I don’t have the best credit or credit history. Are there any credit cards that you have that I may be able to apply for and possibly get maybe? my phone number is 8155499403. I am a member with USAA and navy federal credit union. And hickam federal credit union. I have not applied for anything with them recently in terms of credit. my other email is email@example.com I have been in the navy for 8yrs. and I am an e-5. I live in hawaii.
Because your credit score is under 650, most banks will not give you an unsecured credit card. Your best bet is to get a secured card until you can get your credit score up. Now, these secured cards come with high fees, but they will help you build your credit and raise your credit score. If you are looking to get a traditional credit card like a Visa and Master card, then you would have reduced the balances on your current credit cards and your loans in order for your score to go up. Once your score exceeds 650, you can go back to the credit union and apply for a traditional credit card.
Best secured cards
1. Wells Fargo
2. Bank of America.
