I was wondered what credit cards would you suggest for black consumers. Also I applied for the financial fitness contest. How do I find out the results of that?

I am a member with USAA and navy federal credit union. And hickam federal credit union. Because your credit score is under 650, most banks will not give you an unsecured credit card. Your best bet is to get a secured card until you can get your credit score up. Now, these secured cards come with high fees, but they will help you build your credit and raise your credit score. If you are looking to get a traditional credit card like a Visa and Master card, then you would have reduced the balances on your current credit cards and your loans in order for your score to go up. Once your score exceeds 650, you can go back to the credit union and apply for a traditional credit card.
Best secured cards
1. Wells Fargo
2. Bank of America.
