Darden Restaurants, the owner of Olive Garden and Red Lobster restaurants, are apparently "testing" cutting costs by putting more workers on part-time status in order to skirt paying for employee health care under President Obama's new law (which will hit January 1, 2014). According to a recent report, approximately 75% of the Darden Group's workforce are already part-timers.
