      Hi Rhonda, since last week I didn’t get any points for Mr. Parker video class and for all the activities that system ask us to do. Well I was expecting the Tech Dept had solve the situation and this week was going to be different but unfortunaly the same not only for me, I can see in the comments for many others. Beacuse you are in the Leaders group I want to ask you to guide what I am doing wrong, there is any specific time to acomplish the lectures, have you have any email answer from Tech.

      I guess it’s happening to some and not others.I have not received points either and I have submitted emails so they are aware but nothing has been done :(  I sort of expected better considering most of the courses cover the importance of having effective and efficient service. Well, on the bright side – it’s great information and it’s free!

        As a former high school teacher, I’ve learnt that it was extremely important to give a student a grade for the work they have done, if not you would not only have to deal with a crazy student but a crazy parent as well

            Are you trying to state that learnt is not a word? Where’s your dictionary? Also look up the word Yikes.

            Here’s a little something you can learn today:

            Active verb in the past tense: I learned French.Past participle: I have learnt French.

            Learnt: verb
            a simple past tense and past participle of learn

            I’ll use it in a few sentences so you may have a better understanding of the word OK?:

            I have learnt a lot of things attending this class.
            I learnt that some people are so arrogant and think that they are so smart, when really they are so stupid.

    Tina is correct….the biggest investment is your time. I suggest recruiting a teenage/college/unpaid intern to get the job done. Everybody wins, they build social media experience for their limited resumes and you free up hours in your schedule.

      First of all, they are outlawing “unpaid interns”, as it violates employment laws.  Secondly, a teenager or unpaid college person / intern???  You truly DO get what you pay for.  A teenager has no clue as to the business world and will not serve you well in managing your social media.  If you’re going to farm out your social media, you need to find a reputable, experienced person, company or service.  Trust me on this one . . . it’s what I do for a living.  :)

         As a design professional and instructor, I see often business owners looking for unpaid interns or for the sake of saying the student gets experience, but it would only be experience if they working with or for a content development specialist. Which I would hope offers them a stipend. The Millennial generation use technology everyday, but manner and content they provide may not be suitable for your business.

        Did you learn anything, if so what? Also use spell check because you spelled course wrong, not unless you’re talking about your hair LOL, and another thing it’s about winning a contest as well as learning there’s a lot of work involved in obtaining points. If you feel that the points are not that important, then why not give them to me? No one can state that they went through school, taken tests, quizzes, doing homework, and or projects not caring about receiving a grade especially after making an effort to obtain one. In an effort to obtain a grade, learning is done in the process.  Would you go to work and not get paid?
