On Monday, November 30, Gwen Jimmere, the 2014 Black Enterprise Elevator Pitch Contest winner, shared her story during Black Enterprise’s #BeBizChat. Jimmere recently made history by becoming the first black woman to hold a U.S. patent for a natural hair care product. She is the CEO and founder of NATURALICIOUS, one of the fastest growing natural hair care brands in the U.S. and also the co-founder of Pitch Proof, where she coaches and trains entrepreneurs on how to get capital for their multi-million dollar ideas without going in to debt. Jimmere also offered tips and tools to aspiring entrepreneurs during the conversation.
