SCORE to Celebrate Outstanding Small Businesses at 5th Annual SCORE Awards


SCORE, mentors to America’s small businesses, today announced the winners of the 2013 SCORE Awards.
The 2013 SCORE Awards will honor several exceptional examples of successful, innovative SCORE clients as well as important advocates for small business at a gala taking place on August 15, 2013 at the Intercontinental Hotel in Dallas, Texas.

In 2012, SCORE mentors assisted entrepreneurs in starting 37,054 new businesses, creating 82,207 new jobs in the American economy and serving a total of 352,081 clients.

“We are honored, year in and year out, to shine a light on the small business owners, non-profits and advocates who have helped bolster entrepreneurship in America,” said SCORE CEO Ken Yancey. “This year’s SCORE Award winners are exceptional examples of the great outcomes SCORE mentors have been helping to create for nearly 50 years.”
