When assessing the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. the number of protesters he helped rouse, the amount of books documenting his philosophy that he published and the total revenue generated by artistic projects made in his honor only tell a fraction of the story. To truly decode Dr. King you must take into account the impact he has had on the global issues of race, class and social justice by virtue of inspiring change.
