Attending the International Consumer Electronics Show, you’ll undoubtedly meet the best techies ever. This year there were more black bloggers, journalists, and analysts than ever before. It’s nice to know that the world will be able to read and watch CES coverage from an African-American perspective. Besides, the gadgets come and go. Next year, 4K LCD monitors may be obsolete, but the personal connections will exist for years to come. Real-World Influence 

The new algorithm is making social networking prowess less of a big deal. In addition to factoring in your actions on Twitter, Facebook, Google+ and other networks already included, Klout now uses information from Wikipedia.

“We had to figure out how to balance the real-world influence with the online influence,” said Klout founder and CEO Joe Fernandez. “We still lean more toward the online influence but now your real-world influence is coming more and more into play.”
