Blodgett will be discussing investing in millennial tech stars as she actively does with Startup U, a Shark Tank-type show on ABC Family Channel, where 10 entrepreneurial techies looking to make names for themselves are followed as they go through an entrepreneurial boot camp.

Blodgett’s own creative business ventures led to the creation of Internet community, 7am, a mobile business app focusing on intimate and personal relationship development. Blodgett also founded both Love Uncut, an intuitive app that connects users to relationship coaches, and Industry Chicks, a blog site highlighting women who are making strides in tech, entertainment, and fashion.

While developing her businesses, Blodgett also helps students shape their own startups. Prior to entrepreneurship, Blodgett was a senior video producer for Clear Channel’s ad agency, Creative Services Group. She also directed commercials and shot fashion photography. She is also a graduate of Loyola Marymount University where she received her Bachelors of Arts in Film/Television.

Black Enterprise recently had the opportunity to chat with Blodgett, via Blab, about pitching, startups, and entrepreneurship. Tons of valuable nuggets came from the conversation, click here to check it out.
