Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg unveiled a new look for the newsfeed on Thursday morning. The stream of content on the social networkâ€™s homepage now includes multiple channels for different interests, bigger images and videos, and a more consistent user experience across mobile devices.
Launching in 2006, the newfeed redesign is the most significant change to date for the platformâ€™s widely-recognizable feature. While the limited rollout began today, if youâ€™re ready to make the switch, itâ€™s pretty simple to do.
Mashable instructs users to first go to Facebook.com/about/newsfeed and click on the â€śJoin Waiting Listâ€ť button at the top of the page. Â Youâ€™ll have to wait, but the exact wait time is unclear. Some Facebook users may get lucky and get access today, while others will have to wait a little longer.
