UBR Morning Post: Texas Power Player Tracye McDaniel


This week on The Urban Business Roundtable, UBR Contributor Renita Young speaks with Tracye McDaniel, a true powerplayer in business and economic development in the state of Texas. McDaniels wields influence in a variety of roles, including founder of the Austin African American Chamber of Commerce and executive vice president and chief operating officer of the Greater Houston Partnership.

The Greater Houston Partnership is the fifth largest business alliance in the nation. As one of the organization’s leaders, McDaniel has helped to create more than 16,000 net new jobs and helped to attract more than $4.3 billion in capital investment. McDaniels joins the Roundtable share insights on her journey to becoming one of the key players leading economic development in Texas.
