Franklin Pontiac Buick GMC Inc. is the nation’s 51st largest African American-owned auto dealership, and Texas’ sixth largest minority-owned auto dealership. The Franklin-based company also has the distinction of being the fifth largest dealership headed by a woman.

Peggy J. Cockerham is president of the dealership. Up 18 places on the 2009 BE Auto Dealer List, the dealership saw a 15.7% decline in 2008 revenues.
