LAUREN CLAYTON

Lauren is a junior computer science major from Nashville, Tennessee. She has a curious mind and enjoys solving complex problems and working with others. As part of a team doing app development over the summer, Lauren developed an application designed to be a central hub for all student resources in the Howard University community. Students could share and download files from classes in a fashion tailored explicitly for the HU curriculum. Lauren served as the product manager and backend engineer on the team, utilizing a scrum methodology to complete a prototype of the application. The group plans to continue development of the app and to eventually deploy it.

Alanna Walton is an energetic and charismatic software engineer with a passion for design. When she isn’t running her own hair care company, Alanna likes to use her free time to mock up app ideas. Alanna is a senior computer science major and expects to graduate next year.

KYLE FREDERICK

Kyle Frederick is a curious software engineer from Queens, New York, who is ready to apply his coding skills to new problems. Kyle likes to work on any app ideas in his spare time. He also has a newfound interest in Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence. Kyle is a junior computer science major and expects to graduate in 2019.

Jason Ogato is a software engineer who loves to learn new things and implement them in practical projects. He likes to work in Python and C++ and has a deep interest in Machine Learning, namely deep learning with neural networks. Jason is a junior computer science who expects to graduate in 2019.
