I am a Sophomore student majoring at Computer Science at Fisk University. My aim since childhood is to pursue a career in Computer Science related fields such as becoming Software Engineer,etc. Furthermore, I am also interested in entrepreneurship and leadership roles.

My hacking and app development experience includes the Google Atlanta Hackathon 2015 (Python Role Model Matching App) and the Google Atlanta Hackathon 2016: (Firebase and JavaScript university group events App). My expected date of graduation is May 2019.

Eirene Francis was born in Nashville, TN on June 24, 1999. She is an intelligent, hard-working, friendly, kind, inquisitive, helpful, creative, committed student, athlete, and leader in every aspect of her life. In her time of leisure she is always looking for ways to better herself, the community, and those around her.

While in high school Eirene was involved in many clubs, organizations, and societies; Those being: Black Achievers where she mentored elementary school children, Girls Rock the Street Wall Street, the WLCCI church youth group, Varsity Basketball where she was Captain, Soccer, Saturday Science Academy, Science National Honors Society, Tri-M Music Honors Society, National Beta Club Honors Society, and SGA Secretary. While being on the Women’s Varsity Basketball Team, Eirene and her team won the 2015 TSSAA Division 1 State Basketball Championship, 2014 Regional Championship and the 2014 District Championship. She finished high school with a 3.72 GPA and was able to receive a combined Academic and Athletic Scholarship at Fisk University in Nashville, TN.

Eirene is currently a sophomore at Fisk University, where she has decided to double major in the fields of Business and Computer Science. Her involvement in her community and school has not slowed down. Eirene is the President of the Fisk University Computer Science Club, A member of the Fisk University Women’s Basketball team, A member of ENACTUS and volunteers with a few organizations in her community in her free time. Eirene has most recently interned with Google as a Engineering Practicum intern where she worked on YouTube’s Database and UI. She has also been afforded the opportunity to attend Bank of America’s Ignite with Tech Program.

Jamaal Wells is a Computer Science major at Fisk University located in Nashville, TN. Currently at Fisk, he is pursuing a degree in Computer Science with a focus on specializing in cyber security. Jamaal has always had an interest in coding since he was a kid. Before graduating Riverdale High School with honors, Jamaal started building his company VirtuaLoq. VirtuaLoq is a security tool that will allow consumers to protect their assets. As a business owner and student, Jamaal has worked with several entities to help him pursue his cyber security dream. He is a Martin Luther King scholarship recipient, a Nashville Entrepreneur Center Diversity and Inclusion Scholar recipient, along with a Google internship recipient.
