Senior Vice President â€“ Human Resources & Chief Diversity Officer, AT&T Services, Inc.
In his role as Senior Vice President â€“ Human Resources & Chief Diversity Officer, Corey Anthony is responsibleÂ for identifying and developing leaders, aligning employees with the companyâ€™s vision and priorities,Â overseeing business unit HR support, and employee engagement. He also leads AT&Tâ€™s efforts to leverage itsÂ leadership in diversity and inclusion to drive innovation and growth â€“ as well as the companyâ€™s EEO andÂ affirmative action policies. He was appointed to his current position in May 2017.
Corey previously led the Emerging Services and Operations Transformation organization, where he played aÂ key role in the companyâ€™s global transformation to IP voice, security and cloud services. In addition, he ledÂ operations, planning and support for Technology Operations’ field and center functions.
Corey is a results-oriented executive with a proven ability to simplify and improve experiences for businessÂ customers and consumers. That is the direct result of his strong commitment to the people with whom heÂ works. A proven leader, he consistently builds high-performing, agile, engaged organizations and teams.
Corey was born and raised in Jewett, Texas. He joined Southwestern Bell in 1995 as a manager in the SpecialÂ Services Center in Wichita, Kan. Throughout his career, he has held leadership roles across AT&T â€“ in itsÂ Wireless, Marketing, Finance, Network Operations, Human Resources, and Global Customer ServiceÂ organizations. These wide-ranging experiences have placed Corey at the forefront of the companyâ€™sÂ evolution from a regional telephone company to a global leader in entertainment, business, mobile and high-Â speed internet services.
Corey gives back to his community by serving on the boards of directors for Junior Achievement and DallasÂ CASA. He is a passionate advocate for diversity and inclusion. Corey co-founded a chapter of AT&Tâ€™s African-Â American employee resource group, The NETwork â€“ and today serves on the board for Asian Pacific IslandersÂ for Professional and Community Advancement, OASIS and the companyâ€™s millennial group, oxyGEN.
Corey earned his Bachelor of Business Administration degree with a double major in finance and accountingÂ from Texas A&M. He and his wife, Priscilla, live in Dallas with their children, Monte and Ryley.
