James G. Brown Jr. has been promoted to vice president of affiliate sales and marketing for the eastern division at ESPN in Bristol, Connecticut. Brown is responsible for developing and implementing affiliate market strategies, negotiating affiliation agreements and overseeing sales and marketing. Previously he was director of affiliate sales and marketing for the western region. .
Sharon Kendrick Williams has been appointed president and chief executive officer at Minority Enterprise Corp. of Southwestern Pennsylvania. Williams will serve as an advocate in assisting small businesses and linking them with a network of business development consultants. Previously, she served as a vice president of the Louisville area chamber of commerce.

Larry D. Mays has been named director of marketing, worldwide freight solutions at Unisys Corp. in Blue Bell, Pennsylvania. Mays is responsible for developing marketing and program strategies for the company’s airline cargo information systems. Previously, he served as program manager, freight program in the airline systems division.

Brian P. Anderson has been elected corporate vice president of finance at Baxter International Inc. in Deerfield, Illinois. Anderson oversees all tax, audit, treasury and controller functions as well as international finance, financial planning, financial development program, information services and the Baxter Export Corp. Previously, he served as corporate officer and controller.

John D. Brantley has been appointed vice president of direct marketing for IBM North America in White Plains, New York. Brantley is responsible for the planning, development and execution of direct and database marketing plans. Previously, he was director of incentive strategies for IBM United States, where he was responsible for the Sales Incentive Plan for the IBM field sales force.
