Through her experience working for globally-recognized and respected brands, Twanna realized the importance of strategic partnerships and collaborative efforts in building compelling experiences that organically engaged diverse segments of consumers. And although technology has enabled more collaborative infrastructures within various industries, she also recognized the growth of community and industry silos that have become prevalent forces in stifling the innovation that typically results from the cross-pollination of diverse industries working together to build groundbreaking ventures. In response to this void, she created Converge+Collab, an experiential design firm focused on utilizing the collective impact of the three most influential industries (advertising, entertainment and tech) to identify/create growth opportunities through the creation of content, conversations, collaborative partnerships and capital.
This expertise was derived from her previous consulting assignments with numerous brands and agencies, including but not limited to: The Coca-Cola Company, Pernod Ricard, Octagon, Commonground and Matlock Advertising. In these roles, Twanna maintained executive leadership roles managing all multicultural and millennial marketing efforts, while spearheading the integration of global brands with various entertainment properties, such as BET 106 & Park, BET Awards, BET Hip Hop Awards, Essence Music Festival, the NFL Superbowl, the NBA All-Star Game, X-games, Disney, Showtime’s Soul Food series, and many more. Prior to freelancing, she led brand marketing, planning, and multicultural initiatives for Procter & Gamble, PepsiCo, Alberto Culver, CibaVision, and many of Bishop TD Jake’s entertainment properties. In those roles, she oversaw brand/multicultural marketing, identified and executed strategic partnerships, and brokered/negotiated multi-million dollar deals.
Twanna holds a bachelor’s degree from Florida State University, and an MBA from Clark Atlanta University’s School of Business.
