Nowadays celebrities in music, TV and film are no strangers to the term “hustle.” Whether they’re juggling acting gigs and producing cooking shows or launching music networks and introducing new fragrances, several celebrities are constantly expanding their brand into other ventures. Theatre: Chicago Musical
Double Duty: Brandy Norwood, R&B Grammy Award Winner and Actress

If you happen to be in New York, Grammy Award Winner R&B star Brandy is taking center stage in the Chicago musical at the Ambassador Theatre through Sunday, June 21, 2015. Recently known for her role on BET network show, the Game, Norwood has been in the entertainment industry since she was a little girl.

According to Broadway.com, this play is more than just a successful musical performance. “Chicago is the longest-running American musical on Broadway and is the winner of six Tony Awards, two Olivier Awards, a Grammy and thousands of standing ovations. Chicago is an electrifying tale of greed, murder and show biz that’s been seen by over 20 million people worldwide.”

On May 6, Music Mogul Sean Combs is set to launch “3AM” his first new scent in six years. In typical Diddy fashion he uses a steamy video to market the new fragrance. “First of all, I want

[people] to like the design of the bottle, but just like with any fragrance, I want somebody to stop you in the elevator and ask you what you’re wearing. No matter what the fragrance is called, that’s my objective,” Combs said during an interview with Style.com.

Film: Dope
Double Duty: Forest Whitaker (Actor/Producer/Director), Pharell Williams (singer-songwriter, rapper, record producer, and fashion designer) and Sean Diddy Combs (Rapper, Music Mogul and Entrepreneur)

Dope, an American comedy-drama film, was produced by Forest Whitaker and executive produced by Puff Daddy and Pharrell Williams. According to IMDP, Dope is a coming of age comedy/drama for the post hip hop generation. Malcolm is a geek, carefully surviving life in The Bottoms, a tough neighborhood in Inglewood, CA filled gangsters and

drugs dealers, while juggling his senior year of college applications, interviews and the SAT. His dream is to attend Harvard. If Malcolm can persevere, he’ll go from being a geek, to being dope, to ultimately being himself.

Look for Dope in theaters on June 19.

Film: Brotherly Love
On Double Duty: Queen Latifah, Talk Show Host, Singer, Actress, Rapper and Model

Brotherly Love, a 2015 American drama film written and directed by Jamal Hill and executive produced by Queen Latifah, features a star studded cast including, Keke Palmer, Cory Hardrict, Macey Gray, Romeo Miller and more.

This film is set in Philadelphia’s Overbrook High School, and shares the life of the nations number one high school basketball player Sergio Taylor, as he deals with the early pressures of hood fame.

Double Duty: Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson, Rapper, Singer, Investor, Entrepreneur and Actor

The crime drama depicts the life of “Ghost”,  a wealthy New York night club owner living a double life as a drug king pin.

Tia Mowry, another Child TV star, has parlayed her fame into a cooking show, which takes viewers inside her life as she shares her recipes for success. The show airs on Wednesdays at 9:00 PM ET on the Cooking Channel.
