Kanye West has reportedly been sued by music label TufAmerica, which claims that the rapper illegally sampled portions of a 1969 song by jazz pianist Eddie Bo.
The label claims that the song, “Hook and Sling, Part I
“–which the label says it bought the rights to 15 years ago–was used on West’s No. 1 2010 album, “My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy .” Bo’s jazz hit was reportedly used in two tracks from West’s album, as well as in one of the Grammy-award winner’s music videos.
