Magic Johnson has another venture and it will benefit Chicago youth.
Johnson launched his Friends of Magic initiative on Wednesday which will help at risk students and dropouts to complete their high school degrees.

Common has joined Johnson in the venture. He attended the launch event along with the governor of Illinois Pat Quinn at the Magic Johnson Bridgescape Academy. The Academy is one of many that Johnson has across the U.S.Huffington Post states that the academy contracts with Chicago public schools to help dropouts.
