Man Spat, Wielded Knife At 4-Year-Old Girl And Her Father Who Asked Him To Stop Smoking Marijuana

On a New York City subway train more than a week ago, a father who was riding the train with his daughter was spat on and threatened with a knife by another rider after he had asked the young man to stop smoking weed.

The incident was caught on video and now the New York Police Department is searching for the man.

According to Eyewitness News, NYPD

has released a video that shows a subway rider spitting on a man and his 4-year-old daughter because the father asked the man to stop smoking marijuana on the train. The incident took place nearly two weeks ago in New York City in the Bronx on a Manhattan-bound subway train at about 3:20 p.m. on September 5. As the man was sitting in the subway car, the 35-year-old man complained about the smoking and it set off the man who was smoking.

The man allegedly flipped out and screamed at the man and the little girl and he spat at them, and then he pulled out a knife as he threatened to stab them. This took place on a D train that was heading southbound. The father grabbed his daughter and got off at the Fordham train station in the Bronx.

Another passenger on the train captured the scene on his mobile phone. The man who was smoking the marijuana stayed on the train after the disturbance took place.

Police authorities released the video that was taken that day and is asking the public to help track and identify the man who threatened the man and his daughter.
