Privacy Policy: Is Gmail Reading Your Emails?

Microsoft is making waves with their website Scroogled.com. The website focuses on dissuading Gmail users from their dedication to the site.

Scroogled attacks the privacy policy of Gmail, scanning for keywords in users emails to provide

ads for the user. The ploy from Microsoft comes on the heels of accusations that Google’s Shopping results were
actually paid advertisements, and users were not getting fair and accurate price comparisons. It also appears that Microsoft would hope that fleeing Gmail users would find solace in Outlook.com which debuted in mid-2012.
